2015 Illinois State FFA Degree - January 25, 2015
This updated application corrects errors that incorrectly showed items #23 and 29 being not met, when in fact the student did meet the requirement. Please download and use this newest version of the application.
The Illinois State FFA Degree has been revised for 2014-15. All State Degree candidates MUST use the version of the application. When you download the application and open it for the first time, you may get a message saying the "Macros" have been disabled - please click enable macros before your start entering data. This will insure all calculations are performed in the spreadsheet.
The reason for the change is due to the Constitutional changes that went into effect this year.
Please complete the pages, beginning with the cover and going through the application page by page. There are many hints to the right side of the page that help to explain what is needed.
Check with your Chapter Advisor to find out when the application is due for your section.

Big Dreams in Blue Jackets - final application
1st Farm Credit Services is awarding seven deserving FFA Members with official dress blue jackets though a new program. Download this short application and apply now!

The Big Dreams in Blue Jackets program is designed to award FFA members who are dedicated to the mission of the National FFA Organization with their own, official dress blue corduroy jacket.

Through the program, a member can be nominated by someone else, or by themselves. A short essay should explain why the FFA member is deserving of the jacket.

“The official FFA Blue Jacket is more than just a piece of clothing – it’s a symbol and testament to the dedication of the member to agriculture,” said Karen Blatter, communication specialist with 1st Farm Credit Services. “Through this program, we hope to give the jacket to students who may not have their own and continue to encourage them to serve agriculture.”

Blue Jackets will be personalized for the student with their name, chapter and state. An FFA tie or scarf will also be included. Eligible students must be from one of the 42-counties served by 1st Farm Credit Services.

Applications are available online at www.1stfarmcredit.com and are due by September 1. This is the first year for the program and jackets will be presented in the fall.
