Taylor Hartke is the daughter of David & Korrie Hartke and is currently serving as the 2018-2019 Illinois FFA State Treasurer. She hails from the Teutopolis FFA Chapter in Section 20 where she was raised on her family’s grain and livestock farm. She just completed her freshman year at Lake Land College in pursue of a degree in Agriculture.
Her SAE’s include Beef Production Entrepreneurship and Food Service. Her Beef Production follows the caring, preparing, showing, and selling of 1 Dairy Steer each year and her Food Service SAE follows her employment and responsibilities at RMC Stadium Cinemas in Effingham.
Taylor is not only passionate about the FFA Organization but also has other hobbies including coaching dance and being a member of the State 4-H Youth Leadership Team. She plans to return to Lake Land College to finish her associates degree and then pursue a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Communications and Leadership to promote the agriculture industry and the stories within it.
Taylor is enthusiastic to serve the over 18,000 Illinois FFA Members and looks forward to working alongside all of the members, advisors, and industry leaders!
